Campers, RVs, buses, and vans are allowed, however, they will be in a dedicated area and there will be a $150.00 fee for the duration of the event. This is on a strict pre arranged bases and there are only a set number of spaces that we allow for them, so please reach out to us if you plan on coming in a camper, RV, bus, or van. If you do not pre arrange and reserve a spot prior to getting there, we can not guarantee you a spot.
There is no guarantee that your RV spot will have trees to hang a hammock.
There will only be 2 vehicles allowed at each RV spot purchases.
No.
All vehicles must be parked in the designated parking area after you drop your gear off at the site you choose to camp in.
There will be no vehicles allowed back in the primitive area. You will need to pull up to one of the entrances to the primitive area, unload you gear, and move your vehicle to the designated parking area.
Any vehicle that must be used as your shelter or a part of it will fall in the same category as a camper, RV, bus, or van, and will be charged $150.00 for the duration of the event. ( See the guidelines for campers, RVs, buses, and vans here https://www.hangcon.com//s/f/are-campers-rvs )
There are 2 exception to this rule.
1) Motorcycles can be parked next to your camp area, but they must be kept tight to your hammock as not to take up extra space.
2) If an RV pass has been purchased, you can have 1 other vehicle in addition to your RV or camper that is parked at your paid RV spot.
Yes, you can have a small fire at your camp spot if you choose to. There are a few rules that must be followed, though.
1) No firewood can be brought in from out of state. This is a Florida state law.
2) All fires must be kept in one of the small fire rings that are all around the park. You are able to relocate the rings if need be.
3) Fires MUST be attended to at all times. If you have a fire burning and you leave camp for any reason, someone must stay at the fire or the fire must be extinguished.
This is a zero tolerance rule. If a fire is caught left unattended it will be put out by a staff member. If it is caught again for a second time, you will be asked to leave the event.

Breakfast and Dinner are provided with the event. However, lunch is not. Lunches will be available for purchase from Friday to Sunday, during the hours of 11:00am to 1:00pm.
Any food, drinks, or snacks that are needed outside of those times must be brough by you. There is potable water available at any of the water spigots around the park at the RV pedestals.

you can bring your fur baby as long as they are kept on a leash 6 feet or shorter. Some people may have a fear of dogs so keeping them on a leash is a must during the event. This is a HangCon policy as well as a park policy. Do not allow your pets to mark their territory on other members property.
You are also responsible for cleaning up after your pets. Make sure to have baggies on hand to pick up their droppings and then place it in one of the many garbage cans around the park.
If this rule is not followed, you will be asked to remove your pet from the event grounds.
If you are planning on flying in to join us at HangCon, the best options for airports to use would be.
St. Pete–Clearwater International Airport - 14700 Terminal Blvd #221, Clearwater, FL 33762
Tampa International Airport - 4100 George J Bean Pkwy, Tampa, FL 33607
Orlando International Airport - 1 Jeff Fuqua Blvd, Orlando, FL 32827
Between the main camping area and the primitive area, there are usually plenty of trees to go around.
However, if you do own a stand it would be advised to bring it as a back up just in case you want to make sure that you are in the main area.
Also, if you do bring a stand to set up, please make sure that you do not set the stand up i between trees that a hammock can be hung from. We need to make sure that we have space for the 600+ guests that join us.
If you do set up a tent or stand between trees that can be used to hang from, you will be asked to relocate.
